How It Works:

  1. When a user composes a message, the DLP feature scans the content for sensitive data before it is sent.
  2. If sensitive data is detected, the message is blocked from being sent.
  3. The user will see a pop-up notification informing them that the message has been blocked due to the presence of sensitive data. The notification highlights the sensitive text in blue and labels it with the type of information detected (e.g. Member ID) and provides guidance to the user on how to proceed, such as removing the sensitive data or using their organization's secure email encryption system for sending messages containing sensitive information.
